National Read a Book Day is Monday!
Reading is so important but so is having representation in the books you read.
That’s why I LOVE the kids’ book “Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls”. 💕
Not only does it teach girls to reach for the stars, it also shows them they can do anything they want regardless of gender, race or age. 💪🏻
This book highlights young female powerhouses in every industry from science, poetry, sports, medicine to tech!
And, of course, it also includes a few entrepreneurs!! My favourites! aha 🥰
It tells the story of some names you know - Bethany Hamilton, Bindi Irwin, Zendaya - but also some amazing women you may not have heard of - Mo’ne David, Naomi Wadler and Theodora Von Liechtenstein.
Their stories are short and easy to read. Your young girl (and boy) will definitely find heroes they can relate to in this book.

I think having more roles models like me (female as well as on the spectrum and LGBTQ+) would have given me a lot of joy as a child.
Maybe I would have become an entrepreneur before age 50!
Imagine what I would have accomplished then!
